Car Beeps when off?

Ok, right now I have the battery behind my seat temporarily untill I get hte engine fixed up and the inside all redone. Now when I have the car completely off, but the batter connected of course, theres a beeping sound. It just started doing this a few days ago. Does anyone know what the problem is?

Maybe its your ignition

I know mine is fuked up and I can pull out the key while driving and sometimes, ill shut it off and pull out the key but the switch won't be all the way on off and it will beep

Hmm, once I replace my ignition, i'll see if it fixed. I hate starting the car with a pocket knife >.<.
