car questons

hi,

im still researching on a car and just wondering a couple things.
Are fords bad as they say. I even heard ford is means Found On Road Dead. This is not a dis to Ford. Are Fords reliable? Are they easy to mod up?

I just want some of yall's opionions

Ford's don't suck. yeah each model has its ups and downs, but the downs are usually taken care of once the model has been out for at least 2 or more years. example would be the 2000/2001 focus. many problems with it, but know they are one of top ten cars in Car&Driver magazine.

2001 ZX3 never been in the shop. Abused on road race courses, track days. Engine and suspension has taken very well to mods.
Bought new for $13K, with 0% financing. Worth every penny so far.

Not all the Foci that come off the assembly line are going to be lemons, just a few rotten apples in the bunch.
