www.ehobbies.com has good prices for a U.S seller. Nowadays I've been getting my LHS to special order models and they take off about $5 from the retail price.

I've ordered from a couple places but the best was definately www.scaledreams.com. The delivery was fast(3 days) and they always have sales. They don't have many kits but the amount of detailing parts they have is pretty large. It has mostly muscle car stuff.

:iagree:If you're looking for muscle cars thats the place to go, make sure you look through everything, he has a great selection of muscle car kits, as well as other kits, and dont hesitate to order, I have placed several orders, and I swear by modelexpress, its the only place I shop for models these days.

www.hlj.com is a great place but the shipping price is steep becuase of it all coming from japan.

www.best1hobby.com carries a great variety of kits and the prices are low

I also have only had one problem with modelexpress.net. I placed an order, but it went through in american dollars, and being canadian, that doesnt work! you cant ship an order to a canadian using american money or sumthing :S...anyways, He PHONED my house.. that is what I call customer service. Most online stores would email you, not call you. I find modelexpress to be a great place to shop, I have ordered many many times, and that was the only screw up and it was my fault because I loaded the american page. not the canadian one :screwy:

David is an enthusiast who not only treats customers with respect but is also passionate about building as well as running his company.

His website is easy to maneuver in, his tracking of both current inventory and shipping is top notch, his takes the time to correctly package your shipment (i.e. paints are always shrinkwrapped together, decals are protected in double wall cardboard...all of which is shipped inside the box) and last but not least, he actually creates one-of-a-kind products under his own Scale Race Cars name (including photoetch, paint mask sheets, etc).

Bill

p.s. I am in no way connected with SRC, but if David want's to send me some samples...;-)>
