As worst case scenario, may be the same problem I have... crack in the cylinder head between combustion chamber and water jacket. I have one of the Cherokees that have no radiator cap, so when it overheats, it boils in the overflow tank!

I have a 88 Jeep Cherokee with no radiator neck too and mine does the same thing. Any suggestions?

Heres what I did and now my Jeep never looses a drop of coolant and never overheats. It works, and works well.
