unstable to test smog??

Ok I went to take the car to get it smogged yesterday and it came backed failed(get a free retest though) cause the car was "unstable" and they tried 3 times. They said that it wasn't holding power at the speeds. Like if it was running at 15mph, it will get there and start to drop and then they would have to accelerate to get it back up there....like it wasn't staying on the constant speed. I am wondering what would cause something like that....they said it might be an electrically issue that a circuit or soemthing is being over charged....I tried to search the forum and couldn't find anything about it....man this car is tough to get it to pass smog....

wait, it didnt stay at the right speed?? did they let off the gas, or did it just drop and lose power??

supposedly it drop and loses power and they would have to accelerate it to get it back up...it will not stay at a certain speed....hopefully i can get this fixed and passed smog...

crazy shit dude, how many times have you tried testing it??

lets see....5 times now i think but i got a free retest on the last one.....
