Just starting this one, its going to need a fair bit of work.
I've lowered the suspension slightly in the rear, but its still not quite right, not much I can do now since its all glued up.. The front bar and sideskirts are just taped on for now to see how they'll look, I think the wraparound front spoiler will need a bit of puttying to smooth it into the bodywork underneath it, and I might add slightly to the bottom of the lip and to the sideskirts (If I keep them) in sheet styrene, but both quite discreetly.
Color is tentatively going to be red/charcoal, or maybe silver/charcoal. Interior will be black/red. Its the Jenesis R30 kit.
Get out of the eighties you say? NEVER!!!!! :evillol:

Great project!! I noticed that the tires on that kit are a bit large so maybe that would help with the drop.:)

thanks guys!
Yeah the ride height is a bit problematic. I'm considering using Fujimi watanabes instead, or even AVS model 5's I have lying around. The tyres+rims in the kit have a a very large outside diameter for what they are, strange... Believe it or not, they are the same OD as my 19" VIP bersarios....The tyres are far too high profile.
from most angles it looks good though, so its really only looking from below its a problem..
DR30's tend to sit relatively high with a nose down sort of attitude anyway.

Here's a shot from a more representative camera angle, of where you'd normally view from.
It actually has an ok stance in the plastic...The first pic doesn't do it justice, this is pretty close though.
