Putting red-to-green alclad over dark blue was a novel idea! Now it appears to shift between red, green, and blue.
Gonna have to try that sometime...
Oh yeah, keep up the good work.

WTF is a "jub"? What the hell are "kragers"? :sly: :eek7: :screwy: :disappoin Seriously, correct spelling can take you very far in life. You need to get some English and grammar help before you type another word. Sorry to hijack the thread but I can't take it anymore :banghead:

Hey tonio, settle down. Sure, the slang is annoying, but it isn't that bad. In this case, one of the words you even got mad about is an actual word! Cragers are a style of rim, often used with '50s and older customs. So it's misspelled... an easy mistake.
I agree that the slang is annoying, but hopefully it's just a stage. I'm sure we can handle a little bit of it without scaring off the people who are prone to using it.

Back to the point!!! This is a modelling forum!
The willys is looking great. I've wanted to buy this kit for a long time, but have always been scared by how fake it looks on the box. Glad to see it looks a lot better in your pictures.
The prismatic looks phenomenal. Was it difficult to apply at all?

Thanks for all the coments!
DSM-Mark: The paint was realy easy to apply. Itīs ready for airbrushand and goes on like a dream. Just two light coats and itīs all covered. And it dries fast. But you have to use clear over it.
You can get some realy nice effects with it. If you spray it over black youīll gett red shifting to green. If you use solid blue as base you'll get a paint that looks to be the same blue, but then if you turn the car a bit it will shift to green, turn it the other way and it turns red. I used a dark metallic blue as base and the paint shifts very smooth from red to green. And you get dark metallic blue, gold and purple as well. So a bit of testing can bring out a lot more fom this paint.

Freaking nice
I also have a bottle of Alclad Prismatic. My 'in progress' GolfIII will be painted with this colour but I was scared because I had never used it before. Now that I hear your advice and tips, I think I'll go for a try.
You were not replying to me but I learned a lot. Thanks. :)
