IAC, Throttle body, Startup

My car idle up and down so I replaced the IAC...now my car just cranks and wont startup...Prior to the IAC replacement the car starts up just fine, except for the up and down shift of the idle...help?

Maybe you got the wrong part. Or its faulty. Did you dissconnect the battery before install?

no, but the battery was already dead...after the installation I ran jumper cables from another car and tried starting the car...the car started this before this same way
