Which is why for my own purposes, my computer stays locked in my room(Thank God for the ability to change locks :iceslolan )

Put it in a safe folder, and lock it, put a password on it.

if he isn't computer savvy, then what you could do is make the files hidden and make sure that the folder itself is hidden as well....so that when he goes onto your computer then he won't see the stuff.........but saving copies to cd's as backup isn't such a bad idea either...if you have win2k or xp, can't you make it so that you have a user name and password for everybody in the family (for those who share the same computer with others in the house) and make it so that your user name only has access to those files :dunno:

One more bit of advice: in case your dad somehow figures out the password, in addition to making the folder hidden and hiding it within another folder; create at least 15-20 new folders with different names. If necessary, create folders within those folders. My computer was turned into a giant maze and sometimes I can't even find it :grinno: .

I thought that was my idea, lol. Great minds think alike. I never made one, but it would have gone like this: 9 folders, inside each are 9 more, inside each of those are 9 more and so on. Each is labelled 1 through 9 so you can use a numerical code to remember where you stuff is hidden, for example 15639. Poor mans security.

just save your porn into your system32 folder, in a folder labelled "rundll32". So the directory looks somethin like C:\\WINNT\System32\rundll32\ he'd never think to look there and you don't have to password your pc....the website thing is a kool idea too...
