6 days.... 6 days is all it took her. She had a '96 Sunfire that they got for $3,000 which happened to be her dream car. Got her license Monday, wrecked it today (Saturday). I guess she followed her friend through a 4-way without stopping and either got broadsided or broadsided someone. I heard it third hand so im not so sure. I'm not exactly innocent of accidents though. It took me four months and I rear ended a guy but I was trying not to run over some moron on a bike and I didn't even see the guy waiting to turn left. I didnt hurt his truck though, just my t-bird. But that's all in the past, but running a 4-way, oh man, I bet there was hell to pay in her house that night.

6 days? pah... my friend crashed his first car on the same day he bought it.

Twice :lol2:

The first time: he saw me in the street with my gf, he put his head out the window (while driving) to say "hi, look at my new car!!", and sure enough turned the wheel *BANG* straight into a parked car. The second time the damage was minimal but equally funny

But twice

Same thing happened to my friend, but I was in the car with him. The very first day he got his license we were driving down the road and he turned to wave at someone and the guy in front of us stopped and my friend plowed the back of his protege with his old blazer. Of course nothing happened to my friends blazer but his protege was pretty messed up. The cop, when looking at my friends license, laughed so hard at him and was like, "How are you going to get in an accident the first day you get your license?" It was definitely funny

Im not sure but I think they take the license away until she is 18 now, I could be wrong though.

As bad as it may sound, I kinda hope they take it away, because I can vouch for her not being too sharp when it comes to driving.

Yeah... A friend of mine crashed his second car in 12 days... head on collision with a tahoe... going off road... it was pretty retarded, teh guy had stopped on a turn to make out with his girlfriend, and my friend and i came flying around this freakin muddy turn, and he was there waiting to meet us... i think he was feeling her up too. that was 2 years a go, he's on his 10th car now. here's the list i guess, it's pretty funny how long he had each car for

1. 1989 Toyota camry (6 months more or less)
2. 1992 4x4 Nissan pickup (12 days)
3. 1995 Mazda MX-6 (2 months)
4. 1986 Mazda RX-7 (4 months running, 2 sat around dead)
5. 1995 4x4 Nissan pathfinder (1 month)
6. 1994 4x4 Toyota Pickup (4 days, sold it back)
7. 1992 Nissan Pickup (6 months)
8. 1985 4x4 Toyota pickup (4 months, that's the red truck in the "forget that h2 forum")
9. 1984 4x4 Toyota pickup (3 months, and for sale as well)
10. 1988 4x4 Toyota 4Runner (1 month and still goin)

if it seems like the math doesn't add up it's because he owned more than one car at a time, for instance, he owned the RX-7 and bought and sold cars untill he bought the 92 nissan pickup, then he gave it away.

I could never figure out the obsession with sunfires, I personally think the back of the 90s models looks ugly.

this sounds WAY too much like one of my friends. He's had his license about a year and just went through his third car. First was a neon, then a CRX, then a Celica. He ran the CRX so hard the spark plug wires melted to the valve cover. :sly:
