you should drive it around like that and purposely get stopped by a cop just to see his face...

lol, yeah it would be great to get stopped by a cop, seeing as i just passed emissions, but dont have tags or registration yet, dont have county sticker, or VA inspection on it lol. but ive still been drivin her, had to go lay some sacrificial rubber the other day, first time sense i bought her in October last year. i think she had been waiting for that :) as far as a roll cage, i dont think ill be doing that any times soon, and entertainment centers add tooo much weight, so ill just be doing the stereo components, which was actually a reason i did this whole deal. to check all my wiring, thankfully the speaker harnesses were all the guy screwed with, everything else is dandy. so ill rewire the speakers, probly run my own wiring, buy new carpeting and put it all back together.
oh and mike123, i got my horn through the parts counter at the dealership i work at, dont remember the price exactly think it was like 40 bucks???? any chevy dealership should be able to get it for ya. if not there, yearone should have it, thirdgenresource will probly have it, hawksthirdgen probly has it, and theres always Ebay ;) hell thats where i got the whole car lol

LOL... That "just a little work before dinner" work can get rough!!!
I was only going to raise the car so I could check the suspension...
It ended up with a new M-Tech suspesion and coils in all four corners, and new brakedisks/brakepads in the front.

i did that once, one sat night i was bored so i broke out a bottle of captain morgan's, pulled the speakers out of my old car, and did i nice custom wiring job to fill the empty speaker holes that were in the back seat of my car (she didnt come with rear speakers originally)...

lol, fair enough, but i wind up being an angry drunk, so if something went wrong id probly wind up smashing windows and breaking or stripping nuts and oh man, it would be an ugly morning. so methinks ill leave the capn in the cabinet for me :)

Hey man.. Thats quite the project you made for yourself.. Ive done it myself a couple times! Good luck with it and all! and As was mentioned earlier.. now is a REALLY good time to do some sound deadener... We all love the cars but theyre loud and rattle and it sounds like shit!
Another little tip, Pull them outdated 6x9's out, make a new backer out of 1/4" mdf, or light sheet metal, and install round speakers! like some 51/2's or 61/4's or somethin.. 6x9's are no good...

yeah, i know, but i already bought the 6x9s for the sail panels, but im gonna put 4in rounds in the windsheild and round 6.5's in the door panels, and maybe some 4's in the back. havent really figured everything out just yet.

kick panel boxes are an awesome idea.. You could even make your own if your handy carpenter wise.. If your interested I could give you a few tips on how to make them.. I made my own and they turned out pretty good.. Covered em' in red vinyl to match my interior..

yeah, the iroc came stock with the bose system, and it used the round 4in speakers in the kick panels and on the rear storage lid, so i might do something like that.

yea ineed to replace my 6x4 and the 6x9s , the one on the drivers side rattles against the body , i would do the 6.5 in the doors but i just didnt like the way it looked for some reason altho i plan on making a fiberglass box for two 12's in the back
