Hi, I'm new to the forum and I have some question for you guys that are really smart about this kind of stuff haha. I have a 95 grand prix gtp and I have a blown back right speaker and I don't know what kind to buy to replace them... I also don't know where to get them and I'm not looking to spend a lot of money(under $100) I don't want anything fancy, I just want it fixed. Thank you so much..

Hi - probably admin might suggest not putting your e:mail in a post because searchbots might find it and start spamming you. You might want to edit post to remove it.

I am sure someone will say junk yard is a suggestion but I looked up part number from GM and think a new speaker would be either #16181962 (UQ3 option) $30.44 or #16154031 (UX7 option) $14.29

Since you have a GTP, I bet it more expensive one but check option listing on your vehicle which is usually on underside of trunk (if you don't have original window sticker still).

Oh those prices came from http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/

Course I don't know how hard to actually replace one in your vehicle.

E2 is correct, but, you can also go to http://www.crutchfield.com and do a search for you car make, model and year. They will sell you a speaker of better quality than OEM and with all the hardware to install it and not peel or brake any cabling on the car to get it installed and similarly priced.
And about the email again, he is correct. You have to be carefull more with hotmail since they really give you a small disk amount to store your emails. If it is all full of SPAM then you would not get real stuff

You can probably get some decent replacement speakers, installed at circuit city for under $100.

go to any electronic store and buy 6x9 speakers
These are the replacements for your speakers

and yes you can pick up a pair for less then 100 bucks

Places to buy them from:
Walmart
Circuit City
Best Buy
Sears...I think they still sell car speakers

Thank You so much for all of the replys. They are very help... and I took my e-mail out (didn't know about that stuff, thank you) I went to Wal-Mart and I was looking at their speakers and I saw the 6x9's, but I didn't know which ones to get because there are so many different ones.

I think wal-mart sells pioneer....they are good if all you want is a stock replacement

look for 2 way 6x9 speakers
you can also buy 3 ways

I've looked at Wal-Mart, but I don't know what to buy... I don't know the differences between the 2 way, 3 way, 4 way, and 5 way speakers..I don't know what that stuff means. Which one do you think would work best for my car or does it matter? Thank you!

LOL....your funny :)

ok it doesnt really matter just what ever you want
2-way is MID sound range, and Bass -- 2 speakers in 1
3-way is MID, BASS, and HIGHS -- 3 speakers in 1

Most people prefer to have all the highs up front so thats why I said to look into the 2-ways....but they can be harder to find.

Its not going to kill you or sound really bad if you put in 3-ways in though

just go to the store look for 2-way 6x9s if the dont have them just buy the 3-ways....and pick whatever is in your price range.

i went to walmart to get my speakers...i got Lightning Audio 6x9 3-way speakers...where i got them from they cost less than $40...they are rated at 225 watt power, and with just those i got sum very nice sound out of them...even before i ran completely new wires out to the back...you'll feel a lot of bass (if thats what you like) but you wont hear all that much unless you run new wires...either way...they sound very nice...i'd go for them...and they come 2 in a pack...i got pioneer 6x9z 1nce...but they had no bass whatsoever...so i returned them...they probably would have picked up bass after they got broken in...but o well...lightning audio is the way i went n im happy...with just those i can get my windshield wiper blades rattlin :X heh

also...when the car is off...the bass from da speakers make my gauges jump from the line where they stop up a inch or two...that right there is a good amount of bass...
