It is really simple. you are going to need to get the faceplate adapter with the CD pocket under the opening. I am assuming you are using a single DIN radio and not a double DIN. I am not sure if they make a double DIN adapter. Anyway, you get the wiring harness and crimp all the wires to the wires on your radio. You take off the plastic around the gear shifter by pulling up on it. Then you take the plastic around the center console where the radio is by pullin out on it. Then you unscrew the radio, unplug the wiring harness and antenna. Then you put your new radio in the faceplate adapter plug the wiring harness into your wiring harness adapter plug the antenna wire in and screw the whole thing in, put the plastics back on and your done. I did mine in under 30 minutes, but I have done many radios before. If you go to crutchfield.com they will send you an instruction book if you purchase the wiring harness and faceplate adapter from them.

you got that right. i was impressed with the stock speakers after listening to them open up with the extra power. now get better speakers and it will sound even better.

Yeah, I need to put some component speakers in mine. I also have a friend that has 2 alipne type-r 10's and two generic amps to power them for $350. They sound great in his '91 CRX, so I figure they should sound good in the tibby. I just can't bring myself to spending that kind of money on car stereo stuff anymore. I am thinking about buying a '90 CRX and fixing it up, the guy wants $300 for it and it runs. The interior is shot and it needs a new bumper. So, what should I buy the CRX or the speakers.

If you want the speakers, get the speakers. but if you want a great fix-up job get the car.

i already installed new 6x9's in the rear, i was useing old deck cause i didnt have time to put the deck in yet, but i just put that in and its fucking insane, now i got to put in my 2 12" kenwood subs and my rf-punch amp and my system is just about complete, im also building my box custom to fit in my trunk nice and save space as much as possible so once i get another 300 saved im gonna go get the wood and glue and shit and carpet and the rest of the wiring to do my system. just need to get new speakers for doors and tweaters up front and im done, maybe a cd changer but i doubt it, anything after that is all body and engine work =)
