anyhoo, my dog, Mindee, is the most obedient and sweet dog in the world. She's getting bad hip problems now though :(

We've got 3 cats: Hobbes, Xenia and Shiva and all 3 are absolute nightmares!!

Got pics but haven't had them scanned yet so can't post them. :(

Like Sam said, done heaps! :D But these cats are so damn cute. Ben is the fluffy one and Missy is the on in the chair. Here they have hijacked my work area.

I have a variety pets. :D I have 3 ferrets. Chance, Sammy, and Holly. Chance is in heaven, he gets two girls at once. ;) Then I have a cat named Sydney. She is a not all there in the head. I have a Beta fish named Fred, and a 40 gallon fish tank full of fish. :) I will try and get some pictures this week.

I had her since she was a pup.

I have two goldfish named Hazel and Earl. They are quite active, especially at night. :) I named them after a few of my favorite musical influences. :D At home there are two dogs, Max and Norman. Max loves everybody, especially the elderly, while Norman often refuses to look at you.

Well, my family has four horses, Oscar, Candy, Mooney, and Daisy May. Then there are four dogs, Axle, Rilley, Mattie, and Little Bit. Then there are six cats, Turbo, Honey, Gracie, Pixie/Spooky, Pickles, and my own special kitty, Snap-Dragon, but i usally just call her Kitty. Then there is my dad snake Bonnie and his love bird Petie. Ummmmmmm, lets see, oh ya, we have some chickens and ducks, but the population has decresed a lot in the last year do to the surrounding wild life. We also raise pigs, but we don't name them. Unfortunately, i don't have any pictures so i guess names are it.

Actually she is very social. She eats leaves from my hand and scratches on the back door to come inside. She also likes her chin rubbed. She's not afraid of the dogs either. Basically she wanders the backyard, eats leaves, and plays in the mud and leaves clods on the patio after I have swept it clean. Right now she is hibernating since it is cooler out, but I expect her to come out in a few weeks.

Yes, they are endangered. Back in November of 1988 the gov't made it illegal to take them out of the deserts. I got her in August of 88. She was wild caught. My sister-in-law's brother had picked up a couple of them and one escaped his yard. He didn't know what to do with the other one, so my brother took her and gave her to me for my 13th birthday :) My dad was pissed because he felt strongly against taking animals out of the wild like that ( I do too, but at 13 I didn't understand how bad doing that really is)...but since she was already brought over to the house, he said he would give it 2 weeks and if she didn't start to adapt then we were gonna take her to a wildlife rehab place. But in a few days she made a home out of our pampas grass (a very large plant) and and got her own little system going on. I have had her since then, and she is happy as long as she knows there is always food and water. Out in the deserts, tortoises are lucky if they get to drink twice a year because of the lack of rain. Hogla gets water everyday when she's not hibernating so she is a very happy camper.

Here's my cat her name is in chinese so phoneticly its Sh ow you (but said all at once - ie no pausing between the sounds) which means Jade. She answers to both names.

Yes, and what a gorgeous doggie he is! Morgan will be 4 in April. He too is still a nightmare...his big obsession is getting into wastebaskets and chewing up socks. He still has to go into his crate when no one's home. So does Mugzie, and when these 2 get together it's hell on wheels.

Judge, thanks! I love her to death because she is an "unusual" pet. If anything happened to her I would be just as upset as if it was my dog. She has outlasted 2 of our dogs and will probably outlast the next 5 dogs I have LOL. They can live to be 100 years old. My guess is she somewhere between 40-50 years old. :eek:


EDIT - Oh and I found the only picture I have of me and Captain Fudge...a horse I rode for 4 years. Due to changes in the lease and what not I had to quit, plus there was too much drama with my riding instructor and other people...but anyway...he is still alive and well. He is about 22 years old now....BTW this was taken in Nov. '89
