It would be a lot cheaper to sell the car and buy a Z28... Maybe your askin to much.. Keep tryin, you know what they say, theres a Sucker born every minute! I couldnt give you a price range, Ive never done it before, I can tell you though it wouldnt be worth it.. If you could do ALL of the work yourself it wouldnt be too bad

HOw much are you trying to get for it? It's probalby gonna go for 3 to 4 grand tops. And if it's an auto, I'd keep it that way. You can go to ebay and find an LT1 or LS1 4L60E combo for about as much as you would spend on a new car. they usualy come with the computer and harness. All depends on how much work your willing to do.

well, first off, for trans, i will always say, for a fun driver, manual all the way, they are just simply more fun to drive. but for serious strait line performance, automatics when proporly built are kings of the strip. so if your racin then id keep the automatic. as far as the swap to a V8, if you can find a doner car, at the junkyard, and basicly swap front ends with it lol, then it might not be that hard. make sure to get the suspension parts, engine mounts, engine harness, and all that. contact

Although it is a completely different car, i know someone who did a auto to man swap in his ford probe GT (turbo, wooohooo, a mildly faster slow car) and it wasn't a prob for him. Just remember that everything you will do your car was made for it, because they are not going to make two different assembly lines for the v6 and v8s, so all you will have to do is bolt on the right parts. As for the money aspect, your on your own. If you have the money and you want some self respect, do it yourself. When your done you will feel better about your car and yourself, and you will deffinetly start to woop on the jap crap out there. I love beeting them with my stock 3000 dollar cross fire. they feel stupid knowing its all stock and they bought their car for 4000 and dumped another 2-4000 into it.
