Broken Passenger Seat in a 735il

Hi,

I recently purchased a 1988 735il. Very nice machine. Runs good handles better. One problem however is that the passenger seat does not work. This would not normally be a problem but it is stuck in a position that no one can sit it. I don't actually care if it works but I would like to at least be able to set it in a position in which a normal size person can sit it. Are there any ways to manually adjust this seat?

Probably just a blown fuse. Check fuse #43, which you probably haven't checked because IT'S UNDER THE BACK SEAT at the Rear Power Distribution Panel.

To remove the back seat, lift up and out on the seat cushion.
