Hey everyone.
I am in need of some info. I have a 99 GTP, and my DIC has gone out because of an electrical failure in the car (don't ask).
I am looking for the part number of the DIC Module so that I can replace it in my GTP.
Also, does anyone recommend better rotors than the current stocks on the car that I have?
Thanks.

I've always been pretty happy with my stock rotors...but I kinda have been wanting to upgrade to Baer brakes. I haven't done much research, not sure if they have rotors for the GP's, and if they do, they're a hair on the expensive side.

I have installed slotted/drilled thru rotors and the car breaking performance improved substantially, you do not have to mod anything else, just install these rotors and you can use the OEM pads and calipers. I found them at E-bay. And if you go to http://www.worldparts.com and with your VIN number do an inquiry they will give you quotes and part numbers based on your part description, This is for the DIC module Hope this helps ;)

I would Upgrade to F-Body Calipers and 12" Brake Rotors....I will be doing this soon and have heard there is a big diferance in stopping power...

I would go on EBAY and find a used DIC, a Dealership will charge you way to much and the installation is quick and easy do it yourself project. just remove 2 screws below the steering wheel and pull on the plastic dash housing and it will pop out alowing you access to the DIC.

erjulian, there is an issue with buying used electrical parts. They might have been selling them on the first place becaue an intermitent problem. The best way to go if to get it knew and install it herself.

I bought one used for 50 bucks and it works perfectly. If you went new it may be a lot of money through a dealership. Also try junkyards.
