I just found out I need to replace the Dynaride shocks and was quoted $450, I have 124,000 miles on this car and wonder if I should consider replacing with non-factory GM air shocks and go with a traditional shock. Any comments?

It cost my cousin 900 to get his replaced on a 91 ultra, I'd say go for the air shocks.

Was that $450 for the parts or for parts and installation?

The $450 was a quote for both parts and labor...Back only. I had the replace the front as well with Delco GM air shocks. Total bill was $887. I then had to replace a tire and have a 4 wheel alignment done at a cost of $140 and lastly the battery died after 7yrs so I repplaced it with an interstate battery. Now, if I could locate a seat track adjuster for the drivers side I'd have a car that felt almost brand new. I pick this car up for $3400 6 weeks ago and even though I've put $1100 in it this past week, it's still a steal.
