the digital video camera would work to film the models.
You would need a way to take a still image from the camera. Some digital video cameras have a feature which allows you to take still images with the camera.
If not, you would need a program which would allow you to "capture" a still image from the video. Again, most video software come with this feature.
In short you would need a still image, not a motion image to be able to post the picture.
To answer your second question....
The image will look blurry for two reasons.
#1 is the camera was moving when the picture was taken. This is a possible problem with a video camera since the camera can move. But a model doesn't move so that should help.
#2 is the resolution the picture was taken at. A low resolution picture takes up less space (file size) but the picture quality is not as good. A higher resolution picure takes up more file space, but you get a sharper picture.
Most noticeable when you "blow-up" a picture. A low resolution picture that is made bigger will look "chunky" and "fuzzy".
