Japanese Supra

I have been looking at a 95 Japanese Supra through a website. Do Japanese Supras meet US standards? If not, what company can legalize one for me? Any info on importing a jap. supra to the US would help me out a lot.

Japanese Safety ratings on their cars is much much more lenient on their cars than the US. And they have no emmisions laws. My advice is ethier buy a already converted one or just buy a normal one and covert it yourself, ethier way your gonna spend way too much money for it, your choice, good luck.

OK I understand what needs to be changed, but unfortunately I don't have the capability to do this by my own. I need to know a company or business or whatever that can and has legalized JDM Supras for the US. Has anyone actually done this in this forum? PLease I need to know who can do this conversion.
O yeah, and please don't ask why I want to do this, the answer is because I got the dough and I want to.

I hope you have "the dough" because it's gonna be a lot, there's not really a point to doing it other than to try to play off a JDM Supra, why waste the money? If I were you, I'd go and just build a US car, it's a whole lot easier. But to answer your conversion question, no I don't know of anywhere myself who can do it. Good luck though.

Stop encouraging the guy already, he doesn't have "the dough", he's probably 13, and he has the same post in every other jap sports car forum here. He wants a Skyline, he wants a JDM FD, he wants a JDM MKIV, just because JDM is m4d TigHt Y0! Let it go...

HEY man what the fuck is your problem? I don't have the money for all of them I just got enough for either getting a Mazda RX-7, Supra, 300zx, or something along those lines, and you don't know shit about me how old I am or how much money I got bitch. And what the fuck are you doing searching for other shit I've posted on this website, are you some kind of stalking motherfucker? You're probably some redneck trailer trash that saved up all his money for like 10 years to get that shitty ass ride you got (at least if your car is the one in the picture, DAMN that's fucked up, you should call Xhibit so he can pimp your ride man!). No wonder people hate these forums, their full of little bitches that think they all that just cause they read a magazine and think they know all about cars. So do us a favor, SHUT THE FUCK UP!

look, if you have the money and it looks like you have a computer, look up the info yourself. When you post on the boards, and board, your asking for everyone who can read their oppinion on your idea. I myself think your bullshitting because it's a complete waste of money to try to ship a JDM supra over here when you can get a supra over here already, why not shoot for something that's gonna be faster in the long run and is worth more for the money. If you can do it more power to you, but if you can't then you've proved his point.

ROFLMFAO!!!!!!! That had to be the funniest come backs I have ever read, unfortunately you weren't even close with any of it, and your (funny how you said "do us a favor") telling me to STFU. That's hilarious because over the past few months I've been one of the only people to correctly answer everyone's problems. I don't need to explain any of my credibilities to you, since you seem to be the one with the anger management problems. :loser: I browse the rx-7 forums, the 300zx forums, the skyline forums, just because I don't post there doesn't mean I don't see what's getting posted. Your posts got shot down on the other forums and it's been shot down here also. If you truely had enough money to import and legalize any of those cars you would have done it by now, instead of posting about it. All of it can be done, but if it hasn't dawned on you by now it's probably not going to. Now I'll wait while you think of your best come back because I was probably right and you really are 13.

WOW you were a little bit late on the uptake, I guess It takes alot out of you to write 2 paragraphs. But enough insults. All I have to say to you is good luck on all your future endeavors and God Bless. :)
For all of the other car enthusiasts reading this post I would just like to point out that it is people like these who really take the fun out of these forums. And granted I did insult him pretty heavily on this post before, but it was a direct result of the aggravation many of us rookies get when we are blown off by people who think they are badass just because they have the cars we want. And its true that many of the questions us rookies make on the forums are not exactly intelligent ones, but the so called "experts" on this forum were once rookies too. And last time I checked a forum is a place inwhich people ask questions to receive educated answers from other who have more experience than them.
SO when you read a post in which a rookie is asking a "dumb" question in your opinion don't answer it or simply advise him on the subject. After all we are all here because we love cars and want to learn more about the machines which we admire and show depp admiration for.

When did I say anything about your question being dumb? I as well as others in other sections have advised you and everyone else who comes to these boards, with the exact same "can I import a JDM xxx" questions, of what you should do. A few people even told you where to go to get it done. Once again your incorrect with your comments, in case you haven't noticed, this one...
"And last time I checked a forum is a place inwhich people ask questions to receive educated answers from other who have more experience than them."
...discribes exactly what I do here and one reason why I choose to help out here. You are just the one exception to the rule. :p Also I'm still not understanding this one, maybe I'm looking at it too hard.
"WOW you were a little bit late on the uptake, I guess It takes alot out of you to write 2 paragraphs."
Are you reffering to me posting 16 minutes after I got off work? Well I'm getting tired of arguing so have fun importing.

Even before I fired at you, you decided to state this:
"Stop encouraging the guy already, he doesn't have "the dough", he's probably 13, and he has the same post in every other jap sports car forum here. He wants a Skyline, he wants a JDM FD, he wants a JDM MKIV, just because JDM is m4d TigHt Y0! Let it go..."
You know nothing about me and you rapidly assume all those things. I mean if that's what you refer to as help then I think you're the with the problem. All I asked was if anyone knew of any companies that convert SUpras. Like Motorex converts Skylines. SImple as that, all you had to say was "yes I know one, look here...." or "No I don't know one..." As far as I know you didn't do either.
But thanks anyways. You have shun a light as to knowing what kinds of people are in these forums and which ones I should avoid.

paposwing-just want to let you know that out of everyone on this forum, prjectsupra is the one guy who has helped me w/ everything I've needed to know about supras. He's one of the most knowledge-filled guys I've ever met and he makes this forum fun for alot of people so before you go and run your mouth off, maybe you should check the posts, he's constantly helping others unlike you who's jsut a big waste of forum space

Well first of all I wasn't the one who came out spittin shit at him. I only asked a question, I mean if you don't like it don't answer it. That's good that he helped you with your needs but he didn't help mine. So thanks for the input, even though it wasn't needed, since we already discussed out conflicting views.
