Wait a sec, you are dropping in a H22 Where a D16 should be. Good Luck. Its been done though. With a swap like that, you got to get the engine/tranny to fit. Buy propper engine mounts, Buy proper shift linkage (The stock linkage MAY not work). Get your exhaust pipes to fit together well. buy ECU. Get propper injectors. There.

Youy have to buy a short shifter for an accord, the civic one won't work. I don't remember what year accord it's for; but I do know that not many companies make them. There should be a thread (i think I even asked it before) somewhere on these boards that will tell you the right one to use. But you also do need a different shiftlinkage. But you shouldn't need new injectors unless you're going to build up the motor or add a turbo.

WOW....

Uhh ok for starters if you plan on going with an H22 I'd forget about any other mods for your car until you get that bad-boy between your fenders and here's why!

H22A tranny uses cable shift linkage and you'll need the conversion kit, your exhaust will have to be custom made from the cat back, your front suspension will have to be grossly upgraded to handle that extra 130lbs you plan on adding to it (springs, struts, sway bars, bushings), and yes you'll need the special engine mount kit. Both the shifter conv. kit and engine mounts can be found thru hasport.

It's rough but well worth the payoff in straight line racing. The H22A has INSANE amounts of torque and HP, VTEC engagement will literally throw you back into the seat when this motor is properly mated with an EG chassis.

Obviously not, you told him to get a shifter for a Civic. Now if inbetween your advice and the next guys, he had ordered the part, it would have come and he would have stared at it for days until he figured out he couldn't use it.

Oh, and why would he need to get "big ass" injectors? Totally pointless, unless he is running boost, or some wild N/A set up.

Ya, about that....
I read in his other posts, and he was talking about turbos, so that made me think he was going to run turbo, hince, thats why I thought he needs injectors, but he don't.
And Buggzy proved my point wrong, and I agree with what he said, and threw out my own ideas. I'll rephrase it.
