97 eclipse gsx vs 93 3000GT SL?

97 GSX all the way. I took a 3000GT SL in my little old 86, 140hp rx-7. When I sold the car to my friend I raced my GS-T against my old RX-7.....No contest. In my opinion, don't waste your gas (as expensive as 93 octane is these days)

No, it's cool, I'm a dude....I just have this thing for Jennifer Garner (hence the picture). I think it's that ass kicking girl next door thing. I dont think it really matters.... there isnt anything you can do to a 3kgt sl aside from the twin turbo upgrade to see any real numbers against a gsx... it could be modded with everything but if there is no forced induction (nos turbo w/e) GSX should win...

Heres my opinion on the matter GS-X will rape the 3000GT. For instance my friend has a 3000GT SL AUTO not sure on the year and that thing is slow infact my 93 Accord LX was probably around the same speed a little faster. My friend ricky just purchased a 91 GS-T, so its a FF Turbo and the previous owner heavily modded the car so it flies. But from what i have read and seen the Eclipse GST and above will rape the heavy 3000gt, unless its a VR4.

But there are people that mod the SL to really move, have you done anything to your car?
Does the eclipse have any upgrades as well?

The SL is competent but the GSX is going to be faster. The only way the SL comes out front is a bad driver in the Eclipse and a great driver in the SL. (lets not do a mod this mod that arguement)
