Reset Service Engine Light 2002 Sononma

I'm about to replace the air pump on my 2.2L 4cyl 2002 Sonoma (diagnosed by a dealership). Once I replace it how do I reset the Service Engine light? thanx....

you need to put a scan tool on it and rescan and see if it is throwing a code still then if it is not you clear the code out. If you have a friend that works at a repair shop they can probably do it there. I have a friend who works for a firestone and he has done it for me the couple of times that the check engine light has come on.
