DUDE!!! What is that intake made of? If it's made of PVC piping, take it out!!! When that PVC pipe gets to a certain temperature, it let's off a dangerous, harmful, and poisonous chemical. I don't know much more but I KNOW it's bad for u and ur car!

I agree with BamBam... if it get's hot enough in your engine bay, that shit's going to melt (which is bad enough), and you'll get some toxic fumes coming your way (which is even worse).
My Si seats don't have that rip. Aside from some slight wear on that bolster, they're in perfect condition... Just wish I could find someone to buy them.
Also, what's the contraption in your CD slot? Looks kinda like an EQ, but I think it's some toggle switches?
I like the armrest too... is it half the 98 center console and half the 90 center console? Looks like it's split right behind the shift-boot...
Also, you asked about what to do with the breather-hose for your valve-cover... I replaced mine with some hose that came with my intake, but since it had that coolant line attached to it, I had to dremel through the metal bracket that holds the two lines together in order to completely remove the stock breather hose. It's probably best to replace the coolant line at the same time.

that coolant line looks pretty rusty. i would change out the entire assembly, from one rubber hose to the other, with a single long rubber hose

but what theyre saying is true about pvc, just go to auto zone and get the piping for a 92-00 like i did, or go to a hardware store and get some steel piping (that stuff stays cold and works really well).

Are you talking to me or Hilikus Funkin? I ran mine down beside my battery so i could suck up cold air not put it behind the engine so it picks up hot air :screwy: BTW I dont care if it looks stupid, i paid 12 bucks for the setup rather than paying 80-100 for that damn tube!

I went to the junk yard got the armrest and a mudflap for 10 bucks canadian :naughty: You have to get the support brackets for the rear of it too. It dosnt line up perfect by the shifter, but i beveled it in so it looks half decent. Thanx to my good old friend DREMEL.
Also, what's the contraption in your CD slot? Looks kinda like an EQ, but I think it's some toggle switches?
Below my EQ i have a toggle switch for my amp and the other thing is my cell phone charger(ciggaret lighter)
So for that breather hose just drill a hole in the intake tube and run it back in?
For all you worriers :nono: THAT IS NOT PVC PIPING!!! It is perfectly harmless ABS piping for sewage systems. I know for a fact that ABS is 100% harmless.

I would drill a hole in the intake and stick it in there. That's there for a reason. It spits the unburnt fuel back into ur intake so that it will get burned. The coolant line is to cool it before it gets to ur intake so it's not so hot. It also spits in a small amount of oil which is good in the intake pipe to collect dirt/debris.
