I have a '99 Dodge Ram 1500 that I am having a problem w/. It is full fo oil, but whenever I stop or make a turn, the oil pressure light comes on and my pressure drops to nill for just a second and then pops back up. The truck makes no engine noises when this happens. Need some help. I think it may be my oil sending unit.

Perhaps the PCV valve is bad. Change it and see what happens. It's worth the trouble.

I had the same problem with my 2001 1500 2 WD. Then abruptly lost all oil pressure while driving on the interstate. Turns out that my oil pump pick up was clogged with gunk. For about sixty bucks I replaced the pump, cleaned the pick up tube filter and replaced the oil pan gasket. Turned out to be a pretty easy DIY project. No problems for 30,000 miles now. Good luck.

do you have a mechanical gauge on it or a factory electric? if it is mechanical, sounds like the pickup got yanked off or you have low oil level. I have seen motor where the pump was still low enough where it sucked oil but the second you make the flow flow to a side of the pan it would suck air and you would lose pressure.
