Decisions, decisions...

Ladies & Gentlemen, boys & girls, children of all ages.... It's time for a new set of rims. Not a problem, right? Wrong. I'm torn. I finally found the style/brand/size I want: 16" Rota Circuit 8's. I just can't decide on the color.

This is where you all come in! You took the time to look at this thread, you might as well make your opinion heard & vote in the poll and/or tell me what you think!

Initially I had my heart set on the flat black, but the more I look at the steel gray's, the more undecided I am... So I thought I'd ask y'all & see what you think...

I can't stand flat black... especially since I see all these punks spray painting their hub caps flat black, trying to look cool... :screwy:

So I vote steel grey! :sunglasse

steel grey would go better with your paint i think and for my help give me your SI rims hehe

DO you have a CF hood? I personally like the flat black wheels. I think they would add a nice contrast to ur shiny/glossy paint.

i say steel grey, i like em more than straight black.

Me personally I don't like black/gunmetal toned rims unless the paint on the car is also dark. With your paint color (close to mine) I'd go with a satin steel or even chrome.

Personally, I think the rims you've got on there now are sweet as hell.

The dilemma here is that I don't think either of those rims would go particularly well with your car, but I would hate to see the flat black ones on your ride... So the lesser of two evils is the steel grey.

Hmmm.... some interesting points brought up here...

I like the Si wheels that are on there now, but they've been on the car for about 3 years & it's time for a change. Thing is, IMO the Si wheels don't 'fit' the look of the car.

It's hard to tell in the pic, and for those of you that don't know, yes, that is a carbon fiber hood - along with black projectors/corner & bumper lenses/cf altezzas.

I think the darker rims will compliment the other dark features of the car. The flat black might be too dark, and the steel grey might match better with the lighter weaves in the carbon fiber....

These pictures suck. It'd be much easier to decide if I could actually see the wheels in person.

I feel EXACTLY the same way, go with black.

maybe its just me, although the flat black is usually sweet, but for some reason it doesn't look as nice on your car. maybe its because of how dark your car is that its causing those rims to look sorta unnoticeable like they are just stock steelies. just my :2cents: . so between the two, my choice is for the steel gray.

Mike, there is a 'steel gray' - it's just a lot lighter than the gunmetal.

Now that I see the two (side-by-side) I think I'm leaning more toward the black. The steel gray's look a bit too light.
