Hy everyone Im 18 and Ive been interested in riding for awhile now. I just got my parents permission to take the MSF course and purchase a bike. My question is what would you recommend for someone whos like 6'4 and around 220 pounds? Ive riden dirt bikes before but they were always kinda small for my legs and I couldnt shift properly because of this. Is a sportbike any different and is height a real issue in a sportbike then a car? Also if it is what type of beginner bike would you recommend for someone my height?

At your height, I wouldn't go below a 600. My dad is 6'4" and even sits cramped on my 1994 yamaha. You will probably like the F4i because you will be able to sit up a little straighter. Other than that you'll just have to go to dealerships and sit on bikes for a while to see what fits you.

Yeah any sportbike will be tough on your legs. My dad is 6'2 and it even hurts him to have his legs tucked up like that. But you are younger and it shouldnt bother you. Also what GENRE of bikes are you looking at? Sport, Cruiser? All that will make a big difference. Go check out a dealer and sit on some bikes and you can get a good idea.
