Engine Swap for 1984 Firebird

I'm new to this forum, but I'm a member of NASIOC and I-club and I was wondering if any of you guys know if you can swap out a V6 engine from a 1984 Firebird for a 302 or a 305 V8...or even an LS1. I think its possible, but what modifications would I have to do to make this work. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

i take it your car has a v6 in it. if you are really attached to the car, id say swap. if not, sell it and buy a TA with a v8, becuase any small block will bolt right in, instead of fabricating and reinstalling motor mounts and all that kind of stuff.

so basically, I suggest buying a TA with a v8. if you are dead set on swaping, do a search, there are tons of fourms out there.
