Clutch Problems?

Hello, I am having a problem with my 99 Z24. Today on the way home from work, while shifting, the shifter was having trouble going into gears. It would go in but not smoothly. It would do it, then it would be smooth, then it wouldn't be again.
Not sure if it is a clutch problem or not. The car has 150,000 kms on it. Might be the clutch, but it just started, and there are no signs of the clutch slipping. Once the shifter is in gear, there are no problems.
There is a slight grinding noise sometimes when putting the car into gear.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Sounds like the Clutch. How does the pedal feel? Do you feel a vibration in it? does it increase with rpm?

C_Sephiroth - I have a '00 Hyundai Tiburon. I know this isn't the place for Tiburons, b/c it's a Cavy forum, but....since you mentioned vibrating in the clutch pedal, I thought I may ask.
I have a vibration in my pedal and a knocking noise coming from the engine when I press down on the clutch. When I let off of the clutch, the noise goes away. What is this? :uhoh:

No vibration, just hard to put into gear at times. The pedal feels the same as it always has. Thats why I am having trouble figuring out whats wrong.

-87ttopstang I think your problem is the clutch disk. maybe pressure plate
-curbie You normaly get that vibration from the Throw-out bearing. Or bent fingers on the pressure plate, either way will involve a tear down.
