You can run a turbo but it'll be a pain to get it in there. My buddy just put a turbo on his h22a'd LX, he custom built the kit and is tuning it soon. But he said there was apparently a kit that would work but I haven't seen one online. My friend ironically is wishing he just did an all-motor setup and hasn't even ran the car yet. And seeing how incredibly cramped his engine bay is, I'm definently going to have to agree with just going all motor if you do the swap. But also when you get the motor check to see if it's an open deck or closed deck. I've read people saying that there are only open deck h22s but that is not true there are some that are closed; I've seen a stock closed block h22 with my own eyes. Is that price shipped or from a local shop or...? Check out http://www.hmotorsonline.com/shop/sc2000search.cgi?what=category&keyword=JDM%20USDM%20Engines&hit=10

i hope you like driving in a straight line 100% of the time, cause thast about all that H22 in that civic is gonna be worth. the H22 engine is a much heavier cast and is larger in gurth. You wont be able to take turns and handle worth shit. thats why you only usually see them in strip cars or in regretful high school kids cars. Its also not a good doner plant for a Turbo, altho It is good for an all motor set up as already stated by civicspoon. Dont waste your time and money, If your intrested in going with a swap and are in the 2000-3000 price range then just get a B18B Integra LS motor if you want a motor to Turbo, all of us will tell you its your best bet beacuse you wont have to build teh internals up to run 8psi of boost. Now if you want to go an all motor set up then I would say just get a B18c5 gsr or the B16A2 civic si..of course the GSR has a larger displacement and a better transmission to boot. You can turbo the B16 and the B18c5 too but youll need to build your internals to run 8psi or more. So in that aspect it would bo pointless not to get the b18B ls motor...its all a matter of what you want from your vehicle..turbo or all motor

yes, turbo h22 is not really a good idea, but if you go with a gsr motor, or even an ls motor, but i would probably go with a gsr motor, especially if i planned on slapping on a turbo kit.
