RB26DETT... simpler to put in than 2JZ, though they both cost about the same to install (assuming you keep twin turbos on RB26) If you're going to go single with RB26, might as well get the RB25, up to you. Keep in mind, if you want to use the 2JZ, you will need parts from a 1JZ engine, unless you're willing to pay for everything else needed for an entire 2JZ swap.
People will most likely tell you to go SR, and if that's an option... 10k will get you a finely built SR with change to spare.
Depending on your power goals (since you obviously have the money), research the other engines and see what fits you best.
98 240 huh? Nice find, and good luck with your project.
P.S. You plan on doing the labor yourself or having it done at a shop? I see you're in Georgia... check out Unstable Hybrids (www.uhrp.com) if you haven't already for more swap info.

wow, 10k is alot of cash..
rb26 is nicer than he 2jz in my opinion....
but if i had hat money, id spend it on a 270r motor or a sr20 toda race engine and have some cheddar to spare for suspension

I just started to get into nissan's and I must say that I HAVE no idea y i chose honda's for power, but anyways, nissan is the powerhouse like my friend said, so here is my question...
How would you do a sr20 gt-iR swap, what mods would you have to do or where can I GO to learn more about it, any tips, and also about how much would the hp improve from stock?
Thanks

RB25. All the power you will need in a little 240 especially if you keep it rwd.
