92 Cavalier Blinker problem

I noticed a few weeks ago my blinkers quit working on my Z24. The blinkers come on and stay on. That led me to believe it was a relay. I looked by the fuses and the only 2 relays there are the horn and emer flashers. I noticed one day when they magically worked that the blinking sound was coming from around the blinker arm. That tells me the relay is in that area somewhere.

I don't want to take it to the dealer for a $5 part. I disassembled the steering wheel and had the blinker arm out but could not notice anything. Is it possible for the relay to be right next to the arm? My emer flashers still work which tells me the bulbs are still good. I would appreciate any help. Thanks alot.

Are you meaning that when you turn on your turn signal, that you manually have to turn it off again? If so, mine does the same thing (I have a 90), and we took it apart and heck if we could find anything wrong or missing. If not then I'm not sure why it's doing that, I'm not even sure why mine does what it does either. Oh well

No that works fine. If I flip mine on, the blinker itself stays on solid it does not blink at all.

Ok where is the other one at? I noticed the 2 by the fuses but that is the emer flashers and the horn relay. Do I need to replace the emer flasher relay?

I am in the military and we have car inspections all the time and I have to have my blinkers working. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks.
