Hello,
Please help!
I have checked the forum and it appears this is somewhat common occurance. On a couple occasions now I go to start my GA and it cranks over fine, but does fire. It is like it is not gettig gas. I had it towed to the garage the first time. By the time they got to it the next morning it started fine. They ran some tests and couldn't find any problems. Now the other day it happened again, tried it a couple times throughout the day, and again this morning still won't fire.
I have read about possible ignition interlock problems. The security light has not come on during the process, except during the weekend when it was running the security light came on then went out after a while.
Unfortuanetly, the car is again at the dealers trying to get it fixed.
Is there a recall on the ignition switch? If so does anyone think that is the trouble here?

cranks fine, won't start.
Seems like its not getting gas, pour fuel into throtle body, fires, but won't continue!
Service engine Soon light was on for couple days, then out now.
Security light was on steady for a day, now off

sounds like the fuel cuttoff , try putting the key in the on position without starting the car and leave it on for 15 minutes and try to start it again.

I asked the dealer to check the iggnition/interlock switch as a starting point. They claimed it was the result of the use of Platinum quad Bosch spark plugs. That my stock electrical system was not strong enough to fire the Bosch. I found that questionable, as it ran fine for over a week on them. Anyways, they "relearnt the security system" what ever that means, and replace my new plugs with stock AC Delco ones (twice as much I may add as you can buy from parts source).
Bottomline it runs again, but for how long I question. The next time it happens at least i know to turn on for 15 mins and see if it starts then. Thanks guys!

Hello, thanks for the information, it works again.

It is the third time that happens to me, now as "reced98" comment at least we know how we can start it again.

I go to check the issue of the ignition switch.

Thanks a lot for your help.
