Whats the general opinion on the best bang for your buck 4 door:bandit:
a hsv
a gtst
a wrx
an xr8

r33 gts-t of course, it's a nissan, it's a skyline and built in japan.

It is actually really good, especially in the bang for buck department.

I would have to say a WRX. A Skyline is a close second, but the WRX is reallly comforatable and can br just as fun as an r33. Just my 2 cents.

but I wonder how many people are thinking of the coupe version of the skyline when they voted?

If it had of been the best LOOKING sedan then I might have had to go for the WRX.

not quite sure what the hsv and xr8 are in there for though.

but as I have said before, this is my oppinion, yours most probably is different.

Skyline's look way tougher than a WRX the ford and holden aint in it :frog:
WRX are nice but i really think a Skyline will outperform most WRX if they are stock nd against there equivalent car

No way a WRX would be as comfortable as an R33 Skyline. Longer wheelbase, basically better appointed too - the WRX is based on a little bitty Impreza (small car) whereas the Skyline is a medium-sized GT.

the skyline for a number of reasons size the turbo option the 4wd option and the strenght of the drive train.
you can talk rick you own a skyline 4door and a nice one at that

I read a magazine recently and they described the 4 door gtst as the upscale of a wrx with an owner who has past the boyracer phase.Well I don't think I will ever pass the boy racer phase but every mag compares gtst's to m3's so for a $20 000 95 gtst (mine) or a $100 000 95 M3,I think I know how much play money that leaves me with I just don't understand why those of us that need or prefer 4 doors aren't surrounded by gtst's and cefiro's and chasers rather than SS's.

Nissan CA31 Cefiro is the best sedan.

Skyline of course. I hate the wrx, I work with holden, and although i dont mind the xr8 there is no power there. besides the skyline is a nissan....enough said. :frog: :smoka:

nah u still have 2 take a wrx over a HSV.... i used to wonder y evos cost twice as much as a STI... now i know that not only their import was private or very low volume, but they hold together much better than a subaru. When i read magazines about wrx's making 350whp+, theyre is always stories of destroyed gearboxes, snapped drive shafts, exploding CVs, everything, while EVO engines and drivelines seem to hang together much better... so an older evo is a good substitute for a rex. btw...4 door r33's are just about the ugliest skyline made in the 90's.....

SKYLINE WILL ALWAYS WIN wrx is a close second though but skyline is a faster better looking beast of a machine and ne1 that hates it can suck the skylines fat nuts and die

most the stock 1's i see i dont like but this really took my fancy

if you would of said the XR6 Turbo then i prob wopuld of said that, cause i think it would beat the R33, and the HSV, just loose at the start to the wrx, but beat it after a few secs and the handling the new BA has is tremendous.

But since u didnt then yes the skyline for sure.
