I like it, kind of reminds me of a Porsche 944 I think it was. Anyways, pretty cool, I never have like those RX-7 Body styles but that looks pretty good.

I like the rims. Good thing the bumpers are painted body color, that would be too Porsche like.

The wheels are gunmetal kosei K1 wheels. Just like I had originally on my 240sx before I put the volks on. We are going to sell the kosei's and buy a set of 14 or 15x10" wheels to put on her.

My boyfriend and I've had at least 25 rx-7's... We have 4 just right now. And I could go buy another 2+2 for about $250 but he wont let me.

Oh man, I can't believe you're selling it, I wouldn't let go of that thing if I got my hands on it. I'm sure you can get a good price out of it.

No way, that's where God intended it. I don't see how you can quick shift with your left hand. And I had no idea the 944 was an answer to the RX-7. Guess you learn something new everyday.

I don't give a crap about "JDM" I drive an American made car, it's just based on my personal preference for which side I'd rather drive on. Yes, not the whole world drives on the "right" side of the road, but I do, so I wouldn't say the wheel's on the "wrong" side. Christ.

The 944 was porsche's answer to the rx-7.
Not Really, the RX7 was more like an answer to the 924, which in it's base specification was crap. The 944 was Porsches answer to people who were disappointed by the crapness of the 924.
Still, not my cup of tea and I have seen better executed Widebody Series 1-3's but it's good for what it is  and still looks great :D

We got the car as a basket case.. When complete it will be among one of the best executed wide-bodies.
what maybe you guys don't realise is it is a Mariah Wide-body kit, that was done atleast 10 years ago. But probably closer to 15. Consider a 10+ year old car... this thing needs restored.
We are going through it with a fine-tooth comb. we have already gutted the engine bay and re-painted. replaced all 4 dampers with tokico adjustibles. replaced the springs and sway bars with Suspension techniques.
THe engine will be a stock 12A with a Racing Beat header, straight exhuast to a supertrapp, Induction is a Racing Beat/Holley manifold with a 2v Holley and RB air-cleaner.
we have a comeplete 1985 GSL parts car sitting about 10 feet away.. we drove the parts car into the shop and pull parts from it as needed..
we clean each bolt, and re-paint after installed, just like factory.
wheels are on the way with a HUGE lip and crazy wide tires.. we need to get the steering worked out tonight, then the engine goes in.. etc etc.
We would love to keep the car, my boyfriend found it sitting like 7 years ago and has been bugging the guy to sell it.. we finally aquired the car... I have a feeling we may keep it when done.. We are so anal about these projects.. He really wants to finish the RX-3. and it has taken a back-burner to this for now. I'll post pics of his 41K original miles 1975 when he pulls it back into the shop.
