the stock twin turbo system is overly complicated and causes common problems. Get a aftermarket single turbo kit as one of your upgrades and you will make more power and have less problems. For the first upgrade though get a better radiator since a rotary motor can't take overheating.

Do not go single as suggested above unless you are looking for top-end power only. The FD, like all rotaries, are mostly top-end, but with the sequential set-up you get some grunt lower. As you can guess, I'm running sequential with all the mods. At 13 psi boost, I do 337 at the rear wheels compared to 225 stock.
I have owned my FD since new, Aug '92, 117K miles on it so do have some experience with the car.
