Does anyone know if stock hummer wheels and tires will fit on a 2000 Z71 (1/2 ton) with a 3" lift. I think the size of the of the tire is 315/70R17 I know I would need lug adaptors, but other than that I was wondering. This is my first post, so help me out here.

Might not need lug adapters if it's an H2......

I would say they would probably fit but don't know for sure, wait for someone else to chime in...

I was wondering about H2, I forgot to mention that. I'm pretty sure they have 8 lugs like the 3/4 tons where the 1/2 tons only have 6 lugs.

I think they only have 6 lugs. IF they do, you won't need any kind of adapter. As for the tires fitting, I think that with a 3" lift, they would, it mightbe tight, but worth trying. THe wheels might have a little different backspacing, so check to make sure they dont hit the A-arms or anything.

They are 8 lug wheels... same as 3/4 ton trucks. More work than it is worth. You can buy aftermarket wheels cheaper than the cost of the hummer wheels and adapters.

How about using some Escalade wheels? I know their 6 lug.

Good Idea....I just started looking at them before I came to the site for the day. I guess great minds think alike. I'm looking for something factory because you can get new car take-offs (rims and tires) for about the same price as you can get just tires.

I think the Escalade wheels would look pretty good. Its hard to find some chrome stock wheels!!

I was looking at the hummer wheel/tire combo as well. The specs are as follows,
TIRE SIZE: LT315/70R17D
TIRE DIAMETER (HEIGHT): 35" in
ROAD SURFACE TREAD WIDTH: 10.25 inch
SIDEWALL DESIGN: Outlined Raised Black Letters
LOAD RANGE: D
PLY RATING: 8 PLY

Wheel Size, 17 x 8.5
8 Lug on 6.5" Bolt Pattern
Back Spacing, 5-9/16"
Wheel Offset, +20mm (Positive Offset)
Hub-Hole Diameter, Aprox 4-5/8"

I just bought a 93 2500 w/ 454 that I would like to put these wheels and tire on. How much lift would I need to make these work?

I would try at least 4". You can maybe go with a body lift, althugh I don't really like body lifts, they are cheaper (say around $100 give or take some). I owuld use a suspension lift myself. A 4" suspension lift costs roughly $1200 depending on what brand you buy.

Don't know about H2 but regular Mil-Specs look awesome on Z-71s. They will fit, but will require light trimming of the fender well.

owning an H2 just to let you know they rub on the torsion bar on the Hummer. I have some friends that have installed the OEM rims on there trucks with out a problem. Now if you want install them on a Dodge you will have to have them milled a little so the hub will sit flush. her is a link to our Hummer site you will see them on a Dodge. Hope this might help. I figure a Hummer owner would of chimed in on this. Good Luck
