Lazy / Lax Shifting

My po' ole' GXE is shifting like it's not sure how it feels about going forward. !!!
Mostly, 1st > 2nd was wierd, and downshifting, it would freewheel until enough throttle was applied, and then it would shift pretty hard into the lower gear.

I just replaced the TPS, but did not reset the ECU.

1st > 2nd is pretty nice now, but the sllllaaaaccckkkk downshifting is worse than before.

I got nuttin.

Anybody?
