I am going to start building a car from plans that i drew up. I plan to make a tube chassis and use a 4 cilinder engine out of a honda or subaru or volkswagen ( something very light and small ). Can anyone tell me where i can find info about what laws this car must adhere to to make it driveable on the street. I dont want to drive it that much as there will be no where to store luggage or even a second person.
Oh yeah they have to be laws for Ohio more specifically Lake County

In my home state they used to require a vehicle inspection sticker on your windshield, you would go to a licensed auto shop and get it inspected every five years before you could legally obtain a license plate and insurance. Probably what you will need to do is get it inspected at the DMV or an auto shop to ensure it is safe for road use. They will probably make you show that it has headlights, turning signals, etc, and that it isn't inherently dangerous, and then allow you to get a tag. Insurance would be sketchy.. liability wouldn't be hard to obtain but it could possibly be much more expensive to insure your own vehicle and health.
Call your local DMV office and ask, really who is going to know specific laws for your county here?

Does anybody know how I can customize my 88 acura legend? I'm trying to figure out what performance parts I can add to it or any ways I could change the interior. I'm trying to take the leather seats of the back and add new ones, and also put racing seats, but I don't think they have mounts for this model. also I'm trying to figure how I can put a better looking bodykit, cause they have very, very, very few for a model that old
PLEASE HEEEEEEELP!!!!

Post this under the Honda section for a better response. I would also try Honda message boards and Honda aftermarket parts suppliers. Do a search on GOOGLE for all those things. It's all on the web dude.

Also, why didn't you start a new topic? This has no relevance at all to the topic posted. You just hijacked someone elses thread, which is bad netiquette.

To get this back ont he right track.....
Supposedly, every state has a website for their Department of Motor Vehicles or whatever they call it.
That' website may have a list of the laws that your vehicle must conform to.
At least...their supposed to.
