Galant Engine Swaps

So heres the deal, i've got mad money into my galant, a brand new head, and now its knockin like a bastard. Im wonderin if anyone knows possible engine swaps for me. Can i put in the 4g63 found in 1990 talons and eclipses, or are there other engines that would drop in. Right now ive got a 2.4L SOHC, 5spd.

1996 Galant use 4G64 2.4L SOHC engine, any V6 6A12 engine from 7G FWD Galant will fit you.

yes a 90 eclipse engine will drop right in there and is better (imo) then a 2nd gen eclipse 63 because the 2nd gen motor is pron to crank walk while the 1gen isnt but other ppl wit argue that its older so it might not b worth it it will cost less then a 6a12 and is much easier to find thats y it the 7g'ers engine of choice
