does anyone know how to replace the foglights/ front turnsignals in a 96 grand am gt 4 door sedan? 1 of my foglights is out + 1 of the front turnsignals is out. I bought some from autozone but dont know how to install them. I looked around the casing, there are no screws to unscrew inside or out. Hmmm

The headlight unit should be all one piece (high/low beams and turn signals) in order to change the bulbs you have to remove the whole head light unit. If you have an owners manual it should say how in there. Dont quote me on this, but without looking at my 96, there is a black metal piece around the back of the headlight unit, there is a little metal piece that attatches the black metal to the actual car. You need to remove this. There are two more bolts, in order to find them you will need to look between the black metal that i told you about and the actual headlight. Its hard to explain without a pic, so if you cant figure it out then email me ([email protected]), and i will send you a pic on how to do it. As far as the fog lights go, im not sure with them, i've never had to remove them. Im sure someone else will be able to help though. I hope this helps you a little.

its easy once you get yor hand back behind them ally ou have to do is push and turn the bulb socket counter clockwise and then pull towards rear of car, grab the entire bulb socket/holder, it unlocks from the backside of the light casings
maybe you arent forcing them enough, sometimes they are pretty tight usually they normally dont just unlock real easily usually you have to pretty muchj force them to turn really, but make sure counter clockwise facing the backside of the light casings- not when facing front of car!
