Which do you think is faster a 1997 Honda Civic or a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer

what engine?

same for the blazer.

the civic is a 2 door, not quite sure of engine but is a 4 Cylinder.

the blazer is 6 Cylinder, vortec engine, Automatic, 4 wd, NOT an xtreme

blazer.
easily low 16's.

easily low 17's (for anything other than an Si).

BLAZER! Gotta g ow/ chevy on this one, besides, you're talking 4.3 Vortec right? vs little 115HP civic EX/LX/DX... no comparison.

if the blazer is beating something, at least it is a civic. im just wondering, did you start this thread because you have a blazer or the civic and your friend has a blazer or civic and you wanted to see which one would win?

the civic is 1.6 v-tec (an once that gets warmed up u will take notice ) it screams to like 8 - 9000rpm but still 4 cylnder to a 6 cylnder is not much of a cmparo but a beating of civics put a type r civic then maybe u have a chance if not on straight then the track will be good for the civic.

Well, if you just want to know what's faster- the Blazer, unless it's an Si.

But you have to be an idiot to buy a Blazer to race around in- roll over and Blazer go very nicely together if I say so myself.

Wow, you must be one hell of an idiot to go race your 130hp civic against an SUV. that's just insane. i hate when i'm accelerating at a more than normal pace and everyone and their mothers geo metro wants to race with me. come on now.
