02 Sentra GXE Trunk

I am having a leak problem which has caused my trunk to leak. The bottom is rusted and the spare tire cover is warped. The dealer said that without a hole in the trunk that thier was nothing that they can do about it. I was wondering if any one has had a similar problem and what if anything was done about it. Thanks
