What exactly is a hyperground? any diagrams to make one? Where do you ground it? does it actually help. be real, it sounds like a crock to me.

Sounds to me like it would be a HUGE ground wire. I would ground it to the frame.. If there is such a ground.....

hyperground is a namebrand aftermarket grounding system for your car, it just allows for a better ground than stock. it helps you get the most from your ignition, charging, etc. systems. as you probably know electricity is no good without a good ground. anyway it does help, but is expensive. there is a member if I remember correctly who made his own up and he claimed it worked good. i'm guessing it probably cost about 20 bucks to make as opposed to i think like 125 to buy it. all it is is like 4 gauge amp power cable with connectors on it.

yes, they do really work. However, the gains vary from car to car. You will benefit the most if your car is heavily modded.
The stock grounds are ok, but you can improve it. Just like Mechanical upgrades like adding an K&N air filter, or free exhaust, adding a Grounding kit is the Electrical improvement version.
They provide a direct and lower resistance path for electricy to return the battery instead of running through the chasiss which is slower.
The results are the electrical components work more effieciently.
If you have no money like me, you can make your own or ebay has some kits. I made some wires for fun, overall, I noticed smoother engine, throttle response, but no power gains.
If you have money, Hyper Ground kit is the way to go, the wires are better quality. Some argue wire is wire, but I disagree. You see I am also an audio/visual freak. Compare Monster cables to regular ones and you can see and hear the difference in picture and audio quality.
So making your own will yield some benefits, but real Hyper Ground Kits give the most performance.

So, where do you run these wires? Do you have a diagram of what to do? Im not sure if I mount the factory ground right to the battery or what. Thanks for the help.

very good link
I find it funny where it says, "Any color but red is okay." and then they used red!
i don't recommend Red, since Red color to battery means positive, but you hook it to Negative, and someone might try to jump start the wrong way.

i have also heard that you can take some of that gauge of wire attach it to the under side of your chassis and let it free hang to the ground so that it is barely touching. it is supposed to help us that keep getting shocked in the winter from touching the door handles. this is what i heard and i need to try it out. keep getting shocked.:newburn:
