I recently posted a question about reaching my peak HP faster in my 2000 teg... i've received answers regarding changing cam gears to doing a b20 swap....
the answer that received the most approval was to do a b20 swap... has anyone ever done a b20 swap on their 2000 teg? if so, does it actually help you reach your top HP faster? does it work? :eek7:

In my own opinion doing the b20 swap shouldn't be any different than doing any other swap. The B20 is a 2.0 liter, thus more torque. That will help you accelerate faster.. but as far as reaching the peak horsepower faster, now you are dealing with a totally different engine that more than likely has a different peak RPM.

Pretty much. All you are doing it taking out your engine and putting in a B20 engine.

i have a 92 integ and in the process of a B20 swap. The vacuum lines got mixed up somehow and we need help to finish hooking up the rest of the lines and wires. If there is anyone out there who can help me with diagrams or pictures or anything I would much appreciate it. Also is the ECU compatable with the B20Z motor? Thank you.

You really should start your own thread for that question. It is bad form to steal someone elses thread. :nono: Plus you will probably get more responses if you start a whole new thread on your question.

A b20 is the motor from the Honda CRV. It has become very popular to match a b20 block with a vtec head due to the more displacement, with vtec capabilities, making a frankenstien motor (CRV/Vtec). If you are just looking for a simple bolt on, this is not what you want to do, though I guess you could concider it a bolt on, it is just a very expensive one.
