Chevy 350 wont start

I hope somone can shed some light on my problem and give me some ideas to try.

I have a chevy 350 with a Howell engine harness. The engine is from a 95 tahoe so it is EFI.

It has run in the past but sat in storage for about a year. I went to start it the other day and no luck.

Checked the starter is turning.

Gas is getting to the engine.

I checked for spark and no luck. So I replaced the ignition coil and the ignition module and still no spark.

I used a test light to see the pink wire to the ignition coil is live when starting

the wires going from the ignition coil to the ignition module (under the rotor) are live during start also.

I put the test light on the top of the ignition coil to see if it will spark or at least intermitly flash during start and it DOEST NOT!. I also checked the rotor is turning.

What else do I need to check.

I did replace the pick up coil last year when it was running. I would not think that would go bad.

Any ideas would be great. I am going crazy trying to get a spark!!

I purchased a spark checker or something like that. That you can put inline of your cables to the plug. The little tool checks for spark. Was only 5 bucks and was able to find my short.

thanks for the help
