The 350 or the 305. Sl proably take the 305 but the 350 could be a challenge

wow thats a good comparison, 86 Z28 maro vs 3kgt sl, hell i don't know, i know the 90 iroc-z was running 14.5 in the 1/4 if i'm not mistaking

I would think you could take the 305, my friend used to have that in his 84 TA, but he dropped in a 350 high output crate motor and htat thing is putting out 380-some hp and over 400 ft/lb torque. He has no traction due to a bad rear/bad tires/needs a new tranny. (So right now a kid on a huffy mountain bike can keep with him the through third gear)...But when that is all done, his will be low 13s we expect.

ep.. he's kind of hesitant of racing, it would be a good race and my first in my SL, he himself is not much of a racer, too scared..
