I know this seems like the wrong forum to post this but I would like to buy an imported skyline twin turbo 6 speed engine/tranny and put it in a 90'-96' 300z. I have heard of it being done, but dont know the complications involved?
I know that the package includes the whole front clip of the skyline taken off and kept as a whole, engine, tranny, everything, so there would be no rebuilding or reassembling of anything, I'm just wondering how I'm gonna fit an inline 6 where a V6 used to be, and if its worth the time and money?
any insight is apprechiated

they've got a couple of 300z's with an rb25 and rb26 in em. tell me though, why not just get the twin turbo VG30DETT version of the 300zx???? i mean its cheaper and those VG30's are pretty decent engines that can hold their own.

I would just rebuild the 300Z engine, rather than spend the money for an engine that would be very diffecult to find parts for.
300Z are actually better for the street, since they have more cubes. Although the I6 is a better, smoother engine, is it worth the extra cash for the awe factor?
