best choice?

i was wondering what to do, turbo sohc vtec or b16 swap, got about $2000 and can do either for that but just wondering what you would choose.

IMO, I think b16's are becoming like those yamaguchis or tomogochis or whatever they used to be called back in junior high. I'd go with the turbo VTEC SOHC!!! That command mad respect man, thats tight. I gather that your car is an 89 civic of some sort, what are the specifics?

Depends what your going for. I'm guessing a b16 might be more reliable than a turbo z6 or y8 but who knows.
