I have a lowered jetta about 1.7 inches drop.. I purchased it this way. I have lowered trucks in the past but never cars.
the steering shakes a little when at hiway speeds. I am sure it has to do with the alignment. I don't know a lot about imports, so are there parts that i might need to correct this??
all that was used to lower it was springs and shocks. I think camber is out too, by looking at the tire wear.
or does it simply need a better alignment?
I like the car but the VR6 motor sure seems gutless compared to other vehicles i've had in the past. I drove the new 200 hp and it's not earth shattering either. I may just sell it and get the diesel to get super fuel economy. but don't get me wrong it does look and ride nice.
